Question? Should people from different religions get married?
Answer: No,
The Bible states in Amos 3:3
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed”?
Jesus said in Mark 3:25
“And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand”.
The question I ask is “Which Church do the children go to if Mom and Dad go to different churches?
I BELIEVE and KNOW that this would put CONFUSION in the minds of the children along with CONFLICT within their minds also because they would want to please both parents WITHOUT having to choose one over the other.
Parents SHOULD NEVER give satan the opportunity to place doubt in their children, parents NEED to have a UNIFIED front and aggreement when it comes to matters of discipline, home rules, church affiliation ect. Satan will take ANY and ALL advantages to CORRUPT the minds of children with whatever and whomever he can.
Christians SHOULD NEVER marry a non-believer.
(2 Corinthians 6:14) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Christians SHOULD NOT make COMPROMISES to appease to just to avoid conflict with the other spouse when it comes to going to a church where the bible is taught and the gospel is preached.
Alot of Christian young women ESPECIALLY, and men when it comes to marriage have made this mistake THINKING that they can CHANGE the mind of their bride or groom to get saved or be more faithful in serving the Lord and or going to church. TRUTH is if the bride or groom is not saved or if they are but not interested in going to church or serving the Lord, more than likely you ARE NOT going to change them you don’t get married to change someone that USUALLY does not happen, that is not an absolute but is usually the case and many of young women and men find themselves in a marriage that is conflicted at best.
Marriage is tough enough with all the outside influences that life and satan throws at the couple WITHOUT having the conflict of a multi – church enviroment between the husband and wife.
(1 Peter 5:8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.
-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8
-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24
-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9
“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23
IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
