(Mark 2:27) And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.

the answer to this verse is as follows:

– The Sabbath was made for Man = People are to GIVE THEMSELVES a day of rest.

People will for MORE money will LITERALLY work seven days a week to obtain JUST that little more they THINK they need.

(1 Timothy 6:10) For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

A question was onced asked to John D. Rockerfeller (The Oil Tycoon)” How much money was a enough money? His answer was despite of all of the millions of dollars he had accquired in his lifetime was: ONE DOLLAR MORE!!!

– Not man for the Sabbath = The Sabbath or Day of Rest was made to GLORIFY the Lord and NOT for people to GAIN for their own benefit.

The Lord WANTS every person to put him first on the first day of the week (Sunday) by attending a GOOD bible teaching church where they can LEARN the Word of God, and FELLOWSHIP with other believers, and REST their body and mind from their daily and weekly stresses of life and duties of work.

(Hebrews 10:25) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23
