Question? Is Acts 28:28 suggesting Predestination?

Acts 28:28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

Answer:

No it is not, NOTHING in this verse suggest or gives any hint of this and if some pastor or church has suggested that it is, then this would be the first I have heard of it but it would not suprise me if they did.

Preachers, and Churches alike WILL TWIST and PULL OUT OF CONTEXT whatever they can to give bases for their FALSE DOCTRINE.

This verse is simply stating that The Apostle Paul WHO had been commissioned (sent) by the Lord Jesus to PREACH the Gospel and to TEACH the Word of God among his kind (Jews- Nation of Israel) and the Gentiles(Non Jew) alike.

Romans 10:1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

Acts 22:21 And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.

The last four words of Acts 28:28 meant exactly that, every where the Apostle Paul went, he WITH BOLDNESS preached the Gospel and the Word of God, they ALL HEARD IT but NOT ALL BELIEVIED it.

Philippians 1:20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

In Conclusion:

it is NO DIFFERENT today for us, we are to stand strong and be faithful to the Gospel and the Word of God and WE SHOULD be like Paul and say…

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
