Question? Sir, explain 1 Corinthians 6:10?

1 Corinthians 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Answer:

The answer lies in V9 which states…

(9) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.

The KEY WORD here in V9 is UNRIGHTEOUS, everyperson who has NEVER trusted Christ as saviour BELIEVING that Jesus went to the cross died and shed his blood, was buried and three days later arose from the dead as the payment for their sins is CONSIDERED unrighteous or UNSAVED.

V9 and 10 simply DESCRIBE types of lost unsaved (unrighteous) people there are.

There are those THAT TRY to teach FALSELY that a person cannot be saved or can lose their salvation if they are or become one of these.

The Bible states in…

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

TAKE NOTE that the Word of God says that WHOEVER BELIEVES that Jesus Christ died was buried and three days arose from the dead SHOULD NOT PERISH (go to hell) but have Everlasting Life.

The word SHOULD is really in the NEGITIVE SENSE and it means WILL NOT, so therefore John 3:16 can be understood as…

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him WILL NOT not perish, but have everlasting life.

Therefore making it a IMPOSSIBILITY for anyone WHO BELIEVES to become unsaved or not to be saved no matter what.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23
