Question? Why doesn’t the Lord just give us our rewards upon death but instead making us wait until the Judgement Seat of Christ?
Answer:
I believe the answer is this…
AFTER a christian has gone on to be with the Lord the things that they had done while they were alive let’s say for example… Wrote Books, Recorded Sermons and the People that they had lead to the Lord etc are ALL STILL producing Rewards for them LONG AFTER they have died.
CONSIDER… D.L. Moody, Billy Sunday, John R. Rice and how about Dr. Hank Lindstrom just to name a few.
The Books they wrote ARE STILL being bought and read, The Recorded Sermons they made ARE STILL being copied, played / listened to, and The People (hopefully the majority) that they had lead to the Lord ARE STILL leading other people to Christ.
To make it easier, Let me put it in another way…
It would be like a Bank giving the customer interest upfront on money that they had just deposited RATHER than letting that money OVERTIME gain the GREATER interest.
ALL these men ARE STILL earning rewards for all the things that they did for Christ and will continue to do so UNTIL the Rapture and all christians are standing at the Judgement Seat of Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
In Conclusion:
The Lord is a JUST and RIGHTEOUS God, therefore, ALLOWING the maximum amount of time for THE GOOD that was done for him and left behind to build up and gain more Rewards.
Psalms 116:5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later
The moment that you do YOU HAVE (at that second and forever) Everlasting Life which WILL NEVER be taken away no matter what.
-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8
-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24
-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9
“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23
IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
