Question… How do you deal with Jehovah Witnesses?
Answer… When talking with JW’s YOU MUST keep in mind that they are a cult that denies that JESUS is GOD in the flesh. They also DO NOT BELIEVE in the TRINITY or there is a place called HELL.
When a Jw knocks on your door the very first MOST IMPORTANT question you ask them is “Do you believe that Jesus is God”? Their response will be no or they will more then likley will try to avoid the question by asking you other questions, YOU MUST press the issue and make them give you a yes or no answer.
The Bible states in Matthew 1:23… Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
JW’s have been taught to deny Christ (God) in the flesh and walk a way and stomp their feet, BUT if they do stay to talk to you (which is extremely rare) then tell them that you can PROVE TO THEM that Jesus is Jehovah (God) of the Old Testament from THEIR OWN BIBLE, This is the KEY because they only except their organizations version of the bible.
Here are the verses to use if you can get them to look…
#1- Genesis 2:4: Jehovah God
#2- Isaiah 43:3: Jehovah your God, the Holy One of Israel “YOUR SAVIOR” <----POINT THIS OUT.
#3- Isaiah 43:11: I AM Jehovah, besides me there is NO SAVIOR <---- again POINT OUT THESE TWO FACTS:
#1- I AM is GOD (Jehovah) REAL NAME the JW cannot deny that.
#2- There is no other saviour then I AM (Jehovah = God).
#4- John 10:25,28: Verse 25 “Jesus answered them”, Verse 28 ” I Give Them Eternal Life”.
#5- Titus 3:4-6: Verse 4 Our Saviour God (Jehovah) was manifested (Jesus) Verse 5 According to His mercy HE (Jesus = God = Jehovah) saved us Verse 6 Jesus Christ OUR SAVIOUR.
During your conversation IF you can get them to listen ask them this question… If Jehovah God is not Jesus and Jesus is not Jehovah God, then how can Jesus say he gives Eternal Life”? in Isaiah 43:11 the bible says there is NO SAVIOUR besides JEHOVAH!!!
After it is all said and done they will have to accept the truth that Jesus is Jehovah God, or deny the truth and believe the lies of the JW organization’s teachings
In Conclusion:
Scripture makes it VERY CLEAR that Jesus is Jehovah God He is our Saviour He gives eternal life besides him there is no savior.
One important thing you want to do is before the JW leaves your doorstep is to leave them to make decision to make about WHO Jesus is, God in the flesh or not.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as YOUR savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins – See 1 Cor. 15:1-4.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved – Acts 16:31
The moment that you do, YOU HAVE (at that second and forever) Everlasting Life which WILL NEVER be taken away no matter what.
John 10:28-29 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (29) My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8
-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24
-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9
“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23
