QUESTION? Does being a good person or doing good things get you to heaven, and does being a bad person or doing bad things send you to hell?

ANSWER:

The answer to that question might shock you.

Doing or being good doesn’t get a person to heaven anymore than doing or being a bad person send a person to hell.

WHY???,

BECAUSE going to heaven or hell is NOT based on what we have or have not done.

Ephesians 2:8,9 “For by grace are ye saved, THROUGH faith, it is a GIFT of God NOT of works lest any man should boast”.

Romans 4:5 “But to him that worketh NOT, but believeth on him(Jesus Christ) that justified the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness(eternal life)”.

Contrary to popular belief, a bad person who DOES bad things WILL and CAN go to heaven just like the good person who DOES good things WILL and CAN go to hell.

Just as stated before a person DOESN’T go to heaven or hell based on what good or bad things they have or have not done.

A person goes to heaven ONLY because they have BELIEVED that Jesus Christ

1. DIED on the Cross -Romans 5:8

2. PAID their sins in Full – 2 Peter 2:24

3. RESURRECTED from the dead 3 days later – 1Corinthians 15:1-4

The MOMENT a person TRUST(believe) Christ ALONE as Saviour,

They receive everlasting life, which WILL NOT and CAN NOT be taken away for ANY reason.

A person ONLY goes to hell BECAUSE they have NOT believed on Christ as Saviour.

NO ONE is good enough to go to heaven – Isaiah 64:6, Romans 3:10

To enter heaven a person MUST be as righteousness (perfect) as God, and the ONLY way person can get that righteousness (perfection) is by simply TRUSTING in Christ and his payment for their sins ALONE. –

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

A. Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

B. Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

C. BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
