Question? Sir, What is the difference between Peace with God and Peace of God?

Answer:

The difference is that one is about Salvation and the other is about Service.

– PEACE WITH GOD:

This is about Salvation. A person RECIEVES “Peace with God” when they Trust Christ alone as THEIR personal Saviour when they BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ Died and shed his blood on the cross and three days later Resurrected from the dead as the complete payment for their sins.

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

– PEACE OF GOD:

This is about Service. When a Christian DEDICATES their life in OBEDIENCE to the “Will of the Lord” in serving him they have the “Peace Of God” because they living in obedience to HIS WILL not theirs.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Philippians 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

IN CONCLUSION:

Many Christians HAVE TRIED with great failure to live for themselves than rather for the Lord and they ALL HAVE suffered many difficulties.

1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

The ONLY WAY a lost person can have REAL PEACE is found by Trusting Christ as Saviour.

The ONLY WAY a saved person can have REAL PEACE is found by living in Obedience to the Will of the Lord.

Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
