Question? In order to be saved, do I need to be water baptized?

Answer:

a “BIG NO”, water baptism DOES NOT save, WILL NOT save, CANNOT save.

Those that teach what is call baptismal regeneration(saved by water baptism), such churches as the Lutheran, Church of Christ, Apostolic, and Roman Catholic to name just a few THAT USE Acts 2:38 as their key verse to promote the hell damning false doctrine of baptismal regeneration.

These churches pull Acts 2:38 out of context and twist the meaning of the verse to say into what it doesn’t say.

In reading VS. 38 these churches quote “be BAPTIZED everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ FOR THE remission of sins” and they say, SEE, IT SAYS to be baptized FOR THE remission of sins, What they forget or should I say CHOOSE to ignore is Firstly the Word REPENT (which means in the Greek “a Change of Mind – METANOIA) from what you once thought saved you such as being water baptized to Trusting Jesus Christ alone as the complete payment for ALL your sins by believing that he died on the cross PERSONALLY and shed his blood as payment for ALL your sins.

The Second word they DO NOT explain is the Word “FOR”

In the Greek the words “FOR THE” is EIS, and it is pronounced like our word ICE) and it means BECAUSE OF, So this completely changes the whole meaning and context of Acts 2:38 TO SAY “To be baptized BECAUSE OF the remission of sins” BECAUSE you “CHANGED YOUR MIND” (Metanoia) and TRUSTED Jesus Christ ALONE as the complete payment for your sins by BELIEVING that HE (Jesus Christ) died for you PERSONALLY on the cross and shed his blood as the COMPLETE PAYMENT for ALL your sins.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

B. Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

C. BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16,17,36,47, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 1 John 5:13
