Question Sixteen

Question? “What does Lordship salvation basically teach”

Answer:

The core tenant or (basic teaching) of LordShip Salvation is “If Christ is not Lord of all, then you are not saved at all”. This false teaching has lead many down the path of fear, doubt, uncertainty and unfortunately doomed many to hell, For its erroneous teaching is a works based salvation.

Many have been mislead by this corrupt doctrine by its many repackaged forms into thinking that they have to surrender all to Christ in order or to be considered genuinely saved, of those who teach this doctrine the basis of what they use to determine if a person is a genuine christian is centered on the outward fruit (actions) of the individual .

Let me just say this:

“can anyone honestly say that they have made Christ Lord of all in every part of their life”?

The answer is of course is NO and ABSOLUTELY NOT, we are sinners (Romans 3:23, 5:12) saved by God’s grace(Roman 5:8, Ephesians 2:8,9), even our very best efforts are filthy rags in the eyes of the Lord (Isaiah 64:6).

I call this false doctrine the revolving door doctrine because you are constantly going in circles chasing a false belief that will never give you:

#1. the truth and always leaving you with doubt if you truly have surrendered all,

#2. Rob you of the peace with God (Romans 5:1) and give you only uncertainty if you are really truly saved,

#3. and gives place for fear and steals away through misguided efforts the very salvation that you are seeking for.

The Idea of or the teaching that one must surrender all to Christ for salvation makes the free gift of eternal life a one of works (Romans 11:6) which does not save and leaves the individual in bondage religiously.

The real truth is we are saved simply by believing personally that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for all our sins and the moment that we do trust Christ alone as our Savior and complete payment for sin God gives us eternal life which last forever (John 3:16) without any efforts, or merit on the persons part nor evidence of fruit(actions) in the believers life thereafter, because the basis of this is we are kept saved by his power not by ours – Read 1Peter 1:5, John 10:28,29.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16,17,36,47, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 1 John 5:13

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell & the lake of fire); but the GIFT of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
