Question? Was Lot Saved?

Answer: YES

2 Peter 2:7,8: v7 “And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked”: v8 “For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;”

If You Compare Genesis 19 WITHOUT 2 Peter 2:7,8 you would NEVER have known that Lot was saved, he is the classic case of most Christians of today, SAVED but you would not even know it.

This is where MOST churches foul up at, These churches CANNOT Discern, between Salvation and Service, they mix the two together and CLAIM if you have the one(Salvation) BUT NOT the other(Service) then you are NOT SAVED, This is NOT TRUE, a person can be saved WITHOUT ever having ANY PROOF of being christian – 1 Corinthian 3:15

The Church’s that ADVOCATE Faith + Service are PREACHING a false gospel and we are told in Galatians 1:8,9 that this is an ACCURSED(Evil) doctrine and one to be AVOIDED -Romans 16:17.

ETERNAL SECURITY is the GOSPEL, the ONLY GOSPEL and God gives ONLY ONE KIND of salvation ETERNAL SALVATION.- John 3:16

YES God DOES WANT the saved person to MATURE in the faith so that he can USE THEM for his purpose of bringing others to the SAVING KNOWLEDGE of his Son the Lord Jesus Christ along with bringing Peace, Joy, and Happiness INTO their life WITH Blessings here on earth and Rewards in heaven, but to have blessings and rewards WE MUST dedicate OUR LIVES to the WILL OF GOD.

Lot ESCAPED the Wrath of God(salvation) – John 5:24, 1 Thessalonians 5:9, but all those within all those cities INCLUDING his wife, son in laws, and relatives DID NOT- John 3:18, 36.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

A. Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

B. Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

C. BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16 – 18, 36, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 1 John 5:13

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell & the lake of fire); but the GIFT of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
