Question? Is eternal security just a license to sin?

Answer:

NO IT IS NOT,

Eternal Security IS THE GOSPEL, if you are not saved eternally than you are not saved.

Eternal security is one of the MOST DENIED and most MIS-UNDERSTOOD doctrines of the bible.

Those that REJECT the doctrine of eternal security TRY to call it a LICENSE TO SIN.

Those that DENIY eternal security fail to realize in their OWN BLINDNESS that while they say they believe that a person is saved by grace through faith alone in fact are REALLY TEACHING a works plus faith salvation which is a soul damning, hell sending false gospel.

In Romans 11:6 the Bible states:

(Romans 11:6) And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

According to Chapter 11, Verse 6 salvation is either by grace or by works it CANNOT and is NOT by both as MANY try to teach.

The answer to Chapter 11 Verse 6 is found in Ephesians 2:8,9…

(Ephesians 2:8,9) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.

ALSO IN Titus 3:5

(Titus 3:5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

TAKE NOTICE the key words:

– FOR BY GRACE are you (ye) saved.

– NOT OF WORKS.

– NOT OF YOURSELF.

– NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.

One thing to KEEP IN MIND if you can lose your salvation than you have to be able earn it back or keep it by performing or doing some sort of human or religious merit , in which God REJECTS.

(Isaiah 64:6) But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

TAKE NOTICE that ALL our righteosness (religious, human, good merits / deeds) are as FILTHY RAGS.

In Conclusion:

– Eternal security IS NOT a license to sin,

– Eternal security IS THE gospel

– You are either SAVED ETERNALY or not saved at all.

(Ephesians 1:13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to known IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
