Question 199

By: Robert Serreyn

Question? In Isaiah 55:11 in what ways will God’s Word not return void?

(Isaiah 55:11) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

God’s Word WILL NOT return void in Two Ways…

#1 – When The Gospel and the Word of God is preached the person or persons will Trust Christ as Saviour BELIEVING(Trusting in Alone) in his Death, Burial, and Resurrection as the ONLY MEANS of their Eternal Life and the COMPLETE PAYMENT for their sins.

(Romans 10:17) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

#2 – When The Gospel and the Word of God is preached the person or persons WILL NOT Trust Christ as Saviour, and goto hell for eternity and when they STAND AT the Great White Throne Judgement they WILL HEAR the words:

(Matthew 7:23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

(Matthew 25:41) Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.

(Revelation 20:14 – 15) And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (15) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

In Conclusion:

God said that His Word WILL NOT return void either by the WITNESS OF THE SAVED, or by the ETERNAL DAMNATION of the lost.

The Word of God will either CONVICT YOU or CONDEMN YOU, or choice..

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23
