Question? To start a church / ministry does a person need to be sent / commissioned by a church?

Answer: NO, unless you want your ministry / church to be subject to the controlling powers of the church / ministry that funds your church / ministry.

In Mark 16:15 Jesus has COMMISSIONED and sent every christian out into the world to PREACH the Gospel.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

There are a lot of small GOOD SOUND bible teaching churches that have been started by a couple of or a group of individuals that WANTED a Church where the BIBLE IS TAUGHT and also where the pastors not only works a 40+ hour job but also preaches on sunday.

Please do not get me wrong there is nothing wrong for a church to fund and support a fledgling ministry to help get it establish.

The ONLY thing of having another ministry lend fiancial support to get another ministry established is the fact that the supporting church / ministry USUALLY but not in all cases want to have a controlling vote and say in ALL church or ministry matters.

I believe that it is best for a start up church or ministry to TRY if all possiable to organize, self govern, and be autonomous on it own for the simple purpose of avoiding being controlled by and or having conflict with a ruling church hierarchy.

If a Christian or a group of believers have been led by the Lord to set out and to start a ministry / church then by ALL MEANS Do the will of the Father concerning that leading, where the Lord guides he WILL PROVIDE.

(Rom 11:29) For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

In Conclusion:

The Lord Jesus has SENT and COMMISSIONED every believer with a ministry to SHARE THE GOSPEL to every man, woman and child.

Every Christians’ mission is to reach as many lost unsaved people as possiable.

(2Co 5:20) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

(Eph 6:20) For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
