Question 325

By: Robert Serreyn

Question? Do you have any reflections from your walk with Jesus?

Answer:

As I look back on the past 25 years since I have been saved, I have noted a few things.

– I have seen Christian friends and Pastor’s alike WALK AWAY from serving the Lord.

– I have seen the DISINTEGRATION of doctrinal teaching from the pulpit.

– I have seen Christian friends and Pastor’s who once stood strong as an Oak Tree on the Word of God, have now COMPROMISE for popularity and profit.

I have heard it not once but maybe a thousand times from my Pastor(Dr Max Younce) over the last 25 years where you will eventually come to a point where it will be Just you and Jesus BECAUSE everybody that once stood with you doctrinally have all either Quit, Compromised, or now are teaching false doctrine.

– I have come to the reality that STANDING ON “Thus Saith The Lord” is often a LONELY PATH.

In retrospect I have come to the mindset that Right Doctrine DOES MATTER especially if its Bible Doctrine.

I have NO REGRETS for my stance upon what I KNOW to be THE TRUTH of God’s Word.

In Conclusion:

All things considered I am VERY BLESSED to have had the pleasure to learn the Word of God from Dr Max D Younce and His Lovely Wife Marjorie, who NOT ONCE ever compromised doctrine or God’s Word just to be popular, or to gain financial profit.

THANK – YOU Pastor and Marge for BEING THE OAK TREES and your unwillingness to bend with the winds of change NO MATTER the pressure or temptations that Satan has thrown at you over the years, again THANK – YOU.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
