Question 395

By: Robert Serreyn

Question? Do you ever feel inadequate in serving the Lord?

Answer: In short YES and probably a lot of other christians as well.

I KNOW my inabilities, short comings, and failures.

I often feel like Moses that said to the Lord…

Exodus 4:10 And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.

The one thing that ALL CHRISTIANS must understand is that the Lord is NOT LOOKING for the Most Talented, Gifted, or Best he IS LOOKING for the Most Faithful.

1 Corinthians 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

If the Christian REFUSES to be faithful in whatever the Lord wants them to do they are WORTHLESS to him.

To be EFFECTIVELY USED by the Lord they must come to the point just as Jesus said in the Garden of Gethsemane…

Luke 22:42 – not my will, but thine, be done.

Not all christians are called to be Pastors, Evangelist, or Write Q’s & A’s (as I do) but ALL CHRISTIANS are called to SHARE THE GOSPEL, the Lord wants to USE US (the christian) to reach the Lost, it is to OUR BENEFIT, Not only does it give…

– Us Joy in leading someone to the Lord

If that person does Trust Christ as saviour then we gain the benefit of having…

– The Joy of having ETERNAL FELLOWSHIP with them forever in heaven.

With the ADDED BONUS of...

– Blessings and Rewards along with Eternal Fellowship as well with all those that person leads to Christ.

In Conclusion:

Sometimes I wish I had the academic ability to go to college or had the talent to write more eloquently.

There is one thing that I do know, the Lord does provide where he guides. I am SO THANKFUL that he provided a website http://rightdoctrinesmatters,com for me to post all the Q’s and A’s that the Lord has SO GRACIOUSLY given me to write for I surely TAKE NO CREDIT for them I can DEFINITELY SAY it’s not me but the Lord.

I ENCOURAGE all christians to DO SOMETHING for the Lord its not the size of it that matters but HOW FAITHFUL you are willing to do it.

In the words that the Lord Jesus inspired the Apostle Paul to write down in 1 Corinthians 9:24…

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23
