Question? I seen a post on Facebook and I quote “Noah was not saved by Faith alone, he also had to build the Ark”, what do you have to say about this?

Answer:

Whoever posted this is REALLY SAYING that Noah was saved by Faith PLUS his Works, which is a False Gospel, and if this was not the intent or meaning then what was posted should have been defined more clearly.
The truth of the matter is that Noah was saved BEFORE he built the Ark.

Genesis 6:8 declares… “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

Grace meaning salvation here, WHY???, because he believed God and his promises, the promise of a FUTURE saviour.

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

One thing to remember Noah and his family would all have been offering the required blood sacrifice for sin in order to have “Found Grace” (saved) in the eyes of the Lord.

The blood sacrifice wasn’t performed to get saved but it was an act of obedience an outward testimony (just like water baptism is today) BECAUSE they were saved.

Noah built the Ark in obedience to God’s command, if Noah would have refused to obey the Lord to build the Ark, YES he and his whole family would have died physically BUT they still would have been saved and the same thing applies to any Christian today, if the Christian goes contrary to God’s commands, Word, and Will the end result might be physical death but NEVER spiritual (once saved ALWAYS saved).

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

John 10:28-29 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (29) My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

In Conclusion:

Salvation has ALWAYS BEEN Faith plus Nothing from Adam and Eve to the present and will be so till the end of time.
The only salvation that Noah received in faith obedience in building the Ark was physical salvation, in other words… saved alive to see another day, to teach otherwise is to teach heresy.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

The moment that you do YOU HAVE (at that second and forever) Everlasting Life which WILL NEVER be taken away no matter what.

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23
