Question? What are the attributes or marks of a GOOD church?

Answer… A GOOD church SHOULD HAVE at least the Following:

1. Present the Clear Gospel at ALL times – 1 Corinthians. 15:1-4

2. Teach the Bible, and be Doctrinally Sound – 2 Timothy 4:2

3. Encourages and Promotes Witnessing – Proverbs 11:30

4. Stop False Doctrine From Entering The Church – Romans. 16:17

5. Only Fellowships With Churches of Like Doctrine – 2 Cor. 6:14

6. Not Ashamed Of the Gospel Of Christ – Romans 1:16

7. Defender Of The Faith, Word Of God and Truth – Jude 3 & 4

This is by NO MEANS an exhaustive list, but you will find that most Biblically Sound churches will fall within these Seven Categories. If you are looking for the PERFECT church you won’t find it, IT DOES NOT EXIST, all churches are occupied by SINNERS SAVED BY God’s Grace and Mercy who are ALL at different levels of maturity in their walk with the Lord. The Best Solution in finding a GOOD CHURCH is to ask the Lord in prayer to guide you to the one that best honors and glorifies him in your area…

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

A. Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

B. Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

C. BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell & the lake of fire); but the GIFT of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
