Question? What is the unpardonable sin?

Answer: Dying WITHOUT having trusted Jesus Christ as Savior.

The Pentecostal and Charismatic churches MAKE MUCH over Matthew 12:31 & 32.

These Churches SPIRITUALIZE these two verses, and claim that a person can lose their salvation if they BLASPHEME the Holy Spirit. ONLY PROBLEM with that is they TOTALLY MISS the the whole meaning of the text in question.

Jesus Christ was speaking to the Pharisees – “Verse 23” and they ACCUSED Christ of casting out demons (devils) in the name of beelzebub (satan) – “Verse 24”.

Jesus REBUKED those Pharisees for their UNBELIEF – “Verses 25-30”.

The Pharisees DENIED, and REJECTED, that Jesus Christ was the Savior Messiah that was prophesied in the Old Testament to come to DIE and Shed his blood on the cross for the sins of the world.

(1 John 2:2) And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Therefore by REJECTING Christ as their Messiah, they also REJECTED all miracles that he performed, and claimed that he was doing this by the power of Satan. Therefore, Christ told them that they were BLASPHEMING (UNBELIEVING) the power of the Holy Spirit (God), and that is what the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is, The SIN OF UNBELIEF.

Anybody that dies WITHOUT trusting Jesus Christ as savior commits the Unpardonable Sin, BECAUSE they have rejected the only way of going to heaven,and that is “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved” – Acts 16:31. BECAUSE of their UNBELIEF, they have blasphemed AGAINST the Holy Spirit,when they REJECTED the gospel.

After a person dies WITHOUT having trusting Jesus Christ as Savior, there is NO MORE PARDON for sin. They have DENIED the truth (Word of God), and REJECTED the gospel (Salvation In Christ), and will, for ALL OF ETERNITY, be in hell for REJECTING the payment for their sins that Jesus Christ made for them on the cross.

(Acts 4:12) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing a person can know is Jesus Christ as Savior. Just BELIEVE (trust In completely) that Christ, ALONE, died, and shed his blood on the cross as the complete payment for their sins, was buried, and three days later rose from the dead.

(Acts 16:31) “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”

A. Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

B. Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

C. BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell & the lake of fire); but the GIFT of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
