Question? Do I need to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a Christian?
Answer: NO,
This my dear sir is FALSE TEACHING put out by, believed and practiced by ALL Pentecostal and Charismatic churches that INCLUDE the Word of Faith movement, Name it Claim it, and Faith Seed ministries ect. such as:

– Benny Hinn
– Creflo Dollar
– Fredrick Price
– Jesse Duplantis
– Joyce Meyers
ECT, ECT, ECT…… Just to Name a few AMONG thousands FALSE TEACHERS and MINISTRIES.
The Word of God states in:
(Romans 16:17) Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
There TWO THINGS we learn from Romans 16:17
1- MARK THEM = Make KNOWN those that TEACH FALSELY.
2- AVOID THEM = Stay away from such CORRUPT MINISTRIES and PREACHERS.
(2 Corinthians 6:14) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness.
In Matthew Chapter 23 in Verses 14, and 15 God TELLS US what he REALLY THINKS ABOUT False Teachers, Corrupt Ministries, and Preachers.
(Matthew 23:14, 15) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. (15) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
The Pentecostal / Charismatic ministries and churches ALL CLAIM that there is MORE than just one baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Scripture ONLY speaks of ONE Spirit Baptism.
(1 Corinthians 12:13) For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
(Ephesians 4:5) One Lord, one faith, one baptism.
When a person places their TRUST ALONE in the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ as their ONLY means of eternal life, and payment for ALL of their sins, they RECIEVE at the moment of belief, ALL of the Holy Spirit, not just half or a piece but ALL.
I have heard of more than one case where a person that were INVOLVED in one of theses type of Corrupt, False Ministries that they were MADE TO feel like they were less than or considered not even a christian BECAUSE they DID NOT exhibit what would be called a SECOND ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit or the SPEAKING IN TONGUES as these two things are considered SO – CALLED marks of a TRUE BELIEVER.
In Conclusion:
If you are INVOLVED IN, PART OF, or FOLLOW one of these FALSE, CORRUPT ministries, my WARNING to you is GET OUT NOW before they destroy and fill your mind with their UNBIBLICAL DOCTRINES…
(2 Corinthians 6:17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.
-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8
-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24
-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9
“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell), but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23
