Question? A youtube preacher said that Word of Faith preachers CANNOT be christians because of their continuous false doctrines they teach, Do you agree?

Answer:

First of all how can he say with “Absolute Certainty” that some of these preachers did not trust Christ as saviour at one point in their life he doesn’t know that and I myself would not make that assumption ONLY they and the Lord knows.

Secondly let me BE CLEAR, IF some of them are saved (which is possible – I don’t know) they have done GREAT HARM by their false doctrines and teachings.

They have DEFINITELY chose the LOVE OF MONEY over Sound Doctrine.

1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Let me again emphasis that SOME of these Word of Faith preachers COULD BE saved (not saying they are) but BECAUSE OF bad spiritual influences, Lack of study, and or Ignorance of sound doctrine they are teaching False HARMFUL doctrines and leading tens of thousands to hell, Whatever Judgement Seat they (Word of Faith preachers) stand at THEY WILL have to give an account of themselves and will pay a GREAT PRICE for having errored evilly.

Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.

For the Saved – 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

For the Unsaved – Revelation 20:11-15 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. (12) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. (13) And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. (14) And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (15) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

A Good Example… I can give is that I know a born again Christian THAT STRUGGLES with homosexuality, Yes he is saved, not in the will of God but still saved regardless of that fact even though he is living a lifestyle that is CONTRARY to God’s Word.
Another is… I know of several Pastors (I won’t mention their names here) that have the Gospel right BUT they have compromised and do teach some BAD DOCTRINE.

Question?… Why?

Answer… Because it appeals to the modern christian of today and it keeps the church chairs full and the money rolling in.

The one thing a Christian MUST REMEMBER that a saved person CAN DO the same things (like spreading false teaching like its truth) just as a lost person can ESPECIALLY if they have been taught or studied bad doctrine, I know this is shocking BUT this is the truth.

Consider Lot, If it had not been for the Lord in telling us that he was saved in 2 Peter 2:7,8 we would not have known that he was saved, Lot was a carnal christian that had NO EVIDENCE of being a christian, in other words if Lot had to go to court TO PROVE that he was a christian he would have been found NOT GUILTY due to Lack of Evidence.
2 Peter 2:7,8 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked. (8) (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

Demas is another fine example, here is a christian that THOUGHT MORE about his popularity with the world than he did with his Saviour Jesus Christ, Testimony, or Paul.

2 Timothy 4:10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

IN CONCLUSION:

It is VERY important to be careful of assuming something or making “Absolute Statements” where one is unknowable.

In the words of the Late Dr. Walter Martin when speaking about the Word of Faith preachers and I quote “The Ignorant leading the uninformed” are no truer words that could have been said.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.
The moment that you do YOU HAVE (at that second and forever) Everlasting Life which WILL NEVER be taken away no matter what.

-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
