Question? I was confronted with John 6:44, How do I refute this?

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Answer:

This is a CALVINIST FAVORITE, they uses this to teach their FALSE DOCTRINE of Election where as THEY CLAIM that God gives some the Faith to believe with and others no faith.

They FALSELY base this on what they SO CALL “The Sovereignty of God”, I call this C.R.A.P. because that is exactly what it is, CRAP.

To refute this lets look at John Chapter 12, Verse 32, which says…

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Be Lifted up means… To go to the Cross,

Question? How does Christ DRAW all unto him?

Answer: THROUGH the Gospel.

It is God’s DESIRE that ALL be saved…

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The Lord Jesus DIED on the cross as payment FOR EVERYONES’ sins, not just for the “Chosen Few”.

1 Timothy 2:6 says…

Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

To be testified – Gr. MARTURION = To become evident or proven.

In other words Jesus PAID IT ALL, FOR ALL and OFFERS IT TO ALL… that’s the answer.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

The moment that you do YOU HAVE (at that second and forever) Everlasting Life which WILL NEVER be taken away no matter what.

-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
