Question? i don’t understand the meaning of, “That Lucifer opened not the house of his prisoners” in Chp.14 in Verse 17 of Isaiah?
Isaiah 14:17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
Answer:
The word HOUSE can be best understood as HELL.
In Revelation 14:11 the scriptures state… And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
And in Luke 16:22-23… And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; (23) And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
TAKE NOTE that hell (torment) so says Revelation Chp. 14 LAST FOREVER, There is NO REST day or night it is on going Twenty Four hours a day, Seven days a week, and 365 days a year to put in human terms there is NO EXIT or escape from it.
The word PRISONERS are the lost, unsaved people that were (those that have already died) and are (those still living) deceived by Satan THROUGH False Doctrine, a False Gospel, Self Righteousness. and or Unbelief, this is what meant by the word BE HID in V3 of 2 Corinthians Chp.4
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost.
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Satan HAS PLENTY of false churches, Religious organizations and Ministers to deceive the mass majority of people.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. (14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Satan’s goal is to get as many souls into his prision house of hell since he is going there himself one day as well.

Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
In Conclusion:
Ignorantly, MOST PEOPLE think that whatever church a person chooses is simply a matter of personal choice and preference, But get this straight, This is NOT A GAME, Satan is playing for keeps and he intends to win YOUR SOUL for hell if he can.
To you and all those reading this my prayer is, that YOU will not be one of his many trophies and be a permanent resident of his House of his Prisoners.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.
The moment that you do YOU HAVE (at that second and forever) Everlasting Life which WILL NEVER be taken away no matter what.

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24
-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9
“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23
