Question Ninety One

By: Robert Serreyn

Question? Does the Grace of God stop at the cross of Christ?

Answer:

No,

The Grace of God EXTENDS throughout every aspect of the christians life.

THE WHY:

(Titus 2:11) For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

The PROOF:

(Titus 2:12-14)

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (13) Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; (14) Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

SADLY, even in churches where the Gospel is taught correctly this CORRUPT doctrine has infiltrated and spread its POISIONOUS venom throughout many grace churches and has been accepted and taught as truth.

1 John 4:1 says:

(1 John 4:1) Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

The best way to insure a RIGHT interpretation of scripture is to follow this simple 3 step formula.

WHO are the scriptures talking to or about.

WHAT is the context or subject of the verse or verses.

DOES the applied interpretation contradict other verses of the same subject or context.

(2 Peter 1:20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

(2 Peter 1:21) For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

(2 Timothy 3:16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
