Question Sixty Nine

Question? Please help me reconcile Mark 13:32 were it says Neither the Son, but the Father?

(Mark 13:32) But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

The answer to Mark 13:32 lies in the little word “but.” The Greek word translated “but” by the translators is “ei” meaning “if ” and “mi” meaning “not.” The proper translation would be “neither the Son, if not the Father.” This simply emphasizes the fact that… what the Father knows the Son knows, and what the Son knows the Father knows.

To keep EVERYTHING in context when a person is studying scripture ESPECIALLY bible prophecies and endtime events mentioned in the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, you must KEEP IN MIND what emphasis that book was written in concerning Christ.

Mark 13:24- 33 is speaking of the Second Coming of Christ, not the rapture as some teach and the same goes for Matthew 24:40-42, those verses take place AFTER the seven year tribulation period, The one taken (unsaved person) is taken to Judgement (hell), the other left (saved person) is left to ENTER the 1,000 year kingdom of Christ here on earth

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

A. Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

B. Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

C. BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
