Question? Why did God confuse the Languages at Babel?

Genesis 11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Answer:

Simply because those people had DISOBEYED God’s original command to Replenish and fill the earth.

Genesis 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

The spiritual application to this can be applied in this manner,

The Lord’s command in Mark 16:15 is to preach the Gospel to every person

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

But because of NOT every church or pastor PREACHES the same Gospel “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved” or teach the sound doctrines of the Word of God the Lord commands us to in 2 Corinthians 6:14 to…

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

In Conclusion:

God is NOT the author of confusion, and we are to STAND FAST (be unmoveable) on what the Word of God teaches.

1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

1 Corinthians 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

2 Thessalonians 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
