Question? Is the parable of the rich man in Luke Chp 16 just that a parable or is it a REAL ACCOUNT?

Answer:

The short answer is that YES it is a REAL ACCOUNT about a REAL LITERAL PLACE called HELL where the rich man went to after he died. All Those that DO NOT BELIEVE the bible all try to discredit Luke 16:19-30 BECAUSE they DO NOT want to have to BE ACCOUNTABLE for their sins before a HOLY GOD who they also try to claim who doesn’t exist.

The account in Luke 16:19-30 is a REAL ACCOUNT about REAL PEOPLE in a REAL LITERAL PLACE the key to understanding the difference between a parable and a real account is that a parable never uses proper names or places, parables are used to teach or emphasis a truth like us using a story to give as an example to bring out a point of truth, and that is what a parable is and for.

Luke 16:19-30 uses proper names such as Abraham, Lazarus and Hell (the Place). To give a little background in understanding these verses let me explain.

In the center of the earth there is a place that has two compartments one called Paradise(now empty) and the other call Torment(hell)(being added to every day), Before Jesus Christ came to this earth to die for the sins of mankind on the cross every SAVED person went to the Paradise side of this compartment.

In Luke 23:42 Jesus told the dying BELIEVING thief that he would be with HIM in Paradise upon death, some churches teach the false doctrine that Jesus went to hell to fight the devil and to pay for the sins of all people but that is NOT TRUE Christ paid for our sins on the cross NOT IN hell and the devil(satan) IS NOT, and HAS NEVER BEEN IN HELL, satan will be FIRST cast into the Bottomless pit -Revelation 20:3, then SECOND after a period of time satan will then be cast into the LAKE of FIRE Revelation 20:10.

After Jesus was crucified he was in Paradise for 3 days and 3 nights (Wednesday 3 to 6pm to Saturday 3 to 6 pm) – Matthew 12:40, when Jesus rose from the dead he took all those saved people from Paradise and now they are in heaven – Ephesians 4:8,9. BUT the Torment(hell) side is where ALL UNSAVED people STILL GO today until they stand before God (JESUS CHRIST) at the Great White Throne Judgement as their JUDGE to RECEIVE their DEGREE of PUNISHMENT in the Lake of Fire for ALL ETERNITY. Revelation 20:11-15

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

A. Christ DIED for you- Romans 5:8

B. Christ PAID your sins in full- 1 Peter 2:24

C. BELIEVE(Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE for Salvation- John 3:16, Acts 16:31, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
