Question? I’m confused. In Galatians 2:16 the Bible says we are justified by faith, WITHOUT the works of the law, but James 2:24 says that BY WORKS a person is justified. Please help. What is the answer?

Answer:

The verse in question, James 2:24, is justification in man’s eyes. Man CANNOT SEE that we have trusted alone in the death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ as our COMPLETE PAYMENT for OUR SINS on the cross.

The ONLY WAY a person can tell if a person is a Christian is by their testimony, and very sad to say, MOST christians make VERY BAD testimonies for the Lord, hence forth, why there is so many people who are unsaved BECAUSE they see NO DIFFERENCE in their christian neighbor, friend, coworkers, and or relatives.

We are justified in God’s eyes in Romans ,

In Galatians by our FAITH ALONE in Jesus Christ as Savior,

BUT justified ONLY BY our works and testimony in MAN’S EYES

In James, this is how you RIGHTLY DIVIDE between salvation, and service(works) when comparing Romans, and Galatians to the book of James. Many preachers have added works to salvation BECAUSE they COULD NOT reconcile Romans, and Galatians, with James 2:24 and made the unbiblical and false combination of salvation + works = eternal life…
