Question? What is your view on Oneness doctrine?
Answer:
It is a FALSE DOCTRINE that is TAUGHT by those that DENY the doctrine of the Trinity.
Those that teach Oneness Doctrine BELIEVE that there is only One God that OCCUPIES three offices, but DENY that God is Three Individual Persons In One.
The Doctrine of the Trinity is MENTIONED through out scripture and is to be BELIEVED and taken as such, to teach otherwise is to teach hersey.
The very first verse of the bible states that God (Hebrew word ELOHIYIM = three or more) CREATED the heaven and the earth.
(Genesis 1:1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
also in Genesis 1:26 The Bible says:
(Genesis 1:26) And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
NOTICE the words US, and OUR, these are ALL WORDS that describe God as being three or more individuals NOT offices.
Lets turn OUR FOCUSE on a KEY VERSE that all those that deny the trinity hate.
(1 John 5:7) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
The Word spoken of here in 1 John 5:7 is Jesus Christ and that is established in John 1:1,14-16 and John 10:30-33.
(John 1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
(John 1:14-17) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (15) John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. (16) And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
(17) For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
(John 10:30-33) I and my Father are one. (31) Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. (32) Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
(33) The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
This is not something new, Satan HAS ALWAYS tried to attack the the Gospel, the Resurrection, and The Diety of Christ he even had convincd the Pharisees to NOT BELIEVE that Christ was God in the flesh, and mankind and satan has not changed these past 2,000 years.
The Oneness doctrine is one to BEWARE OF, it is one of Satan’s slickest deciets to get people to DENY the trinity and NOT EVEN KNOW IT.
Colossians 2:8,9 states:
(Colossians 2:8,9) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. (9) For in him(Jesus Christ) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead(Trinity = 3 persons in 1) bodily.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins. the MOMENT you believe(TRUST in Christ ALONE) you recieve eternal life.
-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8
-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24
–BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9
“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23
