Question? Can you please explain Numbers Chapter 30?

Answer:

The Whole Chapter 30 of Numbers is part of what is called a First Mentioned Principle.

Whenever God sets forth a truth it is therefore from that point on that wave of truth is carried through out the entire bible, which in this cases for Numbers Chp. 30 is Genesis 3:16

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

God SINCE Adam and Eve’s time HAS PLACED the man as the AUTHORITIVE HEAD and HELD him (Father or Husband) responsible for the decision and spiritual direction of the marriage, children and household.

Consider the Following Verses…

(Ephesians 5:23) For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

(1 Timothy 3:12) Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

Numbers Chp. 30 is NO DIFFERENT as it states in V15 and 16…

But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he (the father or husband) shall bear her iniquity. (16) These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house.

In Conclusion:

I believe there WILL BE alot of suprised fathers and husbands both saved and lost when they stand at their repective Jugement Seats.

Judgement Seat of Christ for The Saved – 2 Corinthians 5:10

(2 Corinthians 5:10) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

The Great White Throne Judgement for The Lost – Revelation 20:11,12

(Revelation 20:11,12) And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. (12) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

I Believe God is going to hold those fathers and husbands responsible for their childrens actions, attitude, and spiritual direction UNTIL they become adults then they are held responsible before God from that point on.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
