Question? Is Matthew 26:29 the same as the Marriage Feast in Heaven?

Answer: NO,

This was the Passover Feast for the Nation of Israel, NOT the Lord’s supper for the Body of Christ in heaven.

The Jewish Passover consisted of four cups, which are still observed today.

The 4 Cups are:

– Cup of Santification

– Cup of Blessing

– Cup of Judgement

– Cup of Communion

Matthew 26:29 states that the Lord Jesus Christ WOULD NOT drink the 4th Cup ( Cup of Communion) BECAUSE he knew that Israel would reject him as her Messiah as a Nation.

THEREFORE no communion, as his earthly kingdom (1,000 year earthly reign) WOULD BE put on hold and the Churge Age would begin.

In Conclusion:

The Lord Jesus Christ WILL DRINK the Cup of Communion with the 12 Apostles and ALL the Old Testament Saints at the Passover Feast in the Milliennial Kingdom.

(Matthew 8:11) And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

The word OF should be translated as FROM, therefore giving the CORRECT rendering of the verse as such…

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom FROM heaven.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

-Christ DIED for you – Romans 5:8

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23
