Question? Did all those people mentioned in Genesis chp. 4 on REALLY live that long?

Answer: YES they did.

There are those that HAVE QUESTIONED the length of years lived by those mentioned in the Bible, Satan has THROUGH their own UNBELIEF has convinced them that it is FICTITIOUS in other words NOT TRUE and has in essence told them just like he said to Eve in Genesis 3:1 Yea, hath God said.

To believe that Adam for example, did not live to be 930 years old as the Bible says he did is to REALLY call God a Liar, for you and neither was I there, as the Bible states in Titus 1:2… God CANNOT lie

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.

Also a person MUST TAKE into account THAT IF all those mentioned did not live as long as the Bibles says they did then you have the problem of trying to explain how that Plants (created on 3rd day) and Animals(created on 5th day) survived when they were created on different days IF the word DAYS did not refer to a Twenty Four hour period of time.

For Example…

Plants GIVE OFF oxygen, Animals BREATH oxygen, Animals EXHALE Carbon Dioxide, Plants ABSORB Carbon Dioxide.

Being that Plants and Animals were created on different days each one would have died before the other exsisted, and another thing, we can explain this also by Botney as well, Plants require light to live, if there was a extended period of darkness for example the Plants would have died from the lack of light.

In Conclusion:

Anytime you find a number BEFORE day it ALWAYS MEANS a 24 hour time period. Therefore all those mentioned in Genesis chp. 4 on REALLY DID live as long as the Bible says they did.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know IS Jesus Christ as savior, just simply believe that Jesus Christ went to the cross and DIED and shed his blood, was BURIED and three days later RESURRECTED from the dead to pay for your sins.

The moment that you do YOU HAVE (at that second and forever) Everlasting Life which WILL NEVER be taken away no matter what.

-Christ PAID your sins in full – 2 Corinthians 5:21,1 Peter 2:24

-BELIEVE (Trust In Completely) in Christ ALONE as the complete payment of sin for salvation – John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8,9

“For the wages(payment) of sin is death (eternal torment in hell); but the GIFT(salvation) of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord”. Romans 6:23

IT IS THAT SIMPLE – THE GOSPEL TRUTH
